Marcus Sinclair Harris was born on 21 July 1992 in Perth, Western Australia in a Sports lover family. Marcus Harris was very fond of playing cricket since childhood, he started playing cricket from a young age. Seeing his interest in cricket, his father enrolled him in the Scarborough Cricket Club of Western Australia, where he honed his skills. After which he started playing for his club Scarborough.
After some time he started playing domestic cricket for Western Australia. He made his First Class debut for Western Australia on 10 February 2011 against South Australia at Perth in the 2010-11 summer. He made his List “A” debut for Western Australia on 16 February 2011 against South Australia. He made his T20 debut for Strikers on 22 December 2014 against Scorchers at Perth in the 2014 Big Bash League Tournament.
Due to his performance, he gets a chance to play for the Australian National Cricket team. He made his test debut for Australia on 6 December 2018 against India In the 2018–19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He played his last Test Match for Australia on 5 January 2022 against England.
