Alex Tyson Carey was born on 27 August 1991 in Loxton, South Australia, Australia in a Sports Family. Alex had a great passion for playing cricket and football since childhood, he started playing football from a young age. He wanted to become a famous footballer from the beginning, for which he played matches for many Matches for football clubs and at the national level and got a lot of success. Carey played football till 2013 and after that, he shifted from football to cricket for some reason and decided to make cricket his professional career.

He made his Ipl Debut for Delhi Capitals in the 2020 Indian Premier League.
Due to his Good Performance, he gets a chance to play for the Australia National team. He made his One Day International debut on 19 January 2018 against England Team. He made his T20 International debut for Australia on 3 February 2018 against New Zealand Team. Later He made his Test Debut for Australia on 8 December 2021 against England.
