Dane Van Niekerk is an South African cricketer cricketer. She is a right handed all rounder who bowls leg spin and bats in middle order. She was born on 14 May 1993 in Pretoria, South Africa. Dane was preparing for South Africa’s fast bowling but her father convinced her to try her hand at spin bowling because of her father she started preparing for spin because there are not many spin bowlers in South Africa.
Due to his excellent batting and leg-spin bowling, Dane Van is considered one of the best players in the history of South Africa. Den van has played for Highveld Women and Northern Women in domestic cricket. Dane and Marizanne Kapp were the first women cricketers to be included in the men’s East Province cricket team.
The selectors have decided to include Dane van Niekerk in the South Africa women’s team after a great performance in domestic cricket. Den van was included in the South Africa national cricket team for the 2009 Women’s Cricket World Cup in Australia by the selectors. She made a name for herself in the South Africa team in cricket at the age of 16.
Den van made her South Africa national women’s cricket debut on 8 March 2009 against West Indies Women in a One Day International (WODI). On 11 June 2009, Den Van got a chance to debut in T20 International against West Indies Women. In 2014 she got a chance to debut in the Test series against India women crikcet team

Dane van Niekerk has been bought by Royal Challenge Bangalore in the Women’s Premier League 2023 auction for Rs 30 lakh.
