Heather Knight OBE is an English female cricketer. Heather is currently the captain of the England women’s cricket team. Heather Claire Knight OBE was born on 26 December 1990 in Rochdale, England Heather Clare is a right-handed batsman on the night crutch and a right-arm off-spin bowler. Knight played her 101st Women’s One Day International for England in December 2018.

Heather’s primary and higher education was at Plymstock School, a state secondary school in Plymouth, Devon. Heather refused to go to Cambridge, the world’s largest university, because of her cricket. Heather later studied a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at Cardiff University.

Knight played cricket for Plymstock Cricket Club in the Devon Cricket League winning the club. He began attending Colts training sessions at the age of 9 and progressed through the club’s youth system.

Heather Knight is a swashbuckling batsman at the highest level. Initially lifting the bat for his home county Devon, he currently rains runs for Berkshire. She topped the county run-scoring in both 2009 (391 runs) and 2008 (623). Heather Knight also picked up the bat for the Diamonds, Sapphires and Emeralds in the Super Force.
