Jayant Yadav is an Indian cricketer who plays for Haryana team at domastic level as a bowler, He is a right arm off break bowler and right handed batsman. He made his international debut for India In october 2016. Jayant Yadav was born on 22 January 1990 in Delhi India. He was not so good in studies since childhood, he was not interested in studies, he wanted to become an athlete from the very beginning, he had a great passion for sports and most of all, Jayant liked to play cricket.
Seeing his interest in cricket, Jayant’s father got him enrolled in the Cricket Academy of Delhi, where he used to learn and practice the finer points of cricket. He always gives credit to his father for making him a cricketer. Jayant’s father also used to play cricket in his young age. Jayant is nephew of Yogendra Yadav, famous politician and psephologist. Later Yadav started playing cricket in his domestic cricket, Jayant started playing domestic matches for Haryana team.
In 2011, He made his first class debut for Haryana at the age of 21, and in that match he picked up six wickets against Gujrat team. His Debut match was unforgettable. He is the best wicket taker for his team Haryana in 2014-2015. He played many domastic match for Haryana team for long time. Later he got a chance to play in indian premier league( IPL). In the 2014 Indian Premier league (IPL) auction, Jayant was bought by the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) for INR 10 Lakhs and He played for Delhi capitals till 2018.
In 2019 IPL season auction he was bought by the Mumbai Indians, From 2019 To 2021 he played for Mumbai Indians , the team won five ipl trophies. In the next season of ipl 2022 auction Jayant Yadav was bought by the New franchaize team Gujrat Titans for Rs. 1.50 crores, who won the 2022 IPL trophy.
Jayant also played for India Team on international level. Jayant Yadav made his One day International( ODI) Debut for India against New Zealand on 29 october 2016 at Vizag Stadium. After three week He made his test debut for India against England on 17 November 2016 at Vizag stadium. He took his maiden test wicket in the first innings dismissing Moeen Ali.
