Katherine Sciver-Brunt was born on 20 August 1992 in Tokyo Japan. Her mother Julia Longbottom is a British diplomat, was based in Japan at the time of Sciver’s birth and she has been the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Japan since March 2021. Sciver’s father Richard is a business executive. Sciver lived in Poland, for a Brief period of time where she played women’s league football, and she also briefly lived in the Netherlands, where she played basketball.
Sciver began playing cricket when she was a teenager at Epsom College school In England. Sciver got herself enrolled in the England Women’s Academy where she practiced both batting and bowling and she later became an all-rounder cricketer. After some successful games in the academy team, she was selected for the 2013 limited-overs series against Pakistan where Nat made her debut for the full England side.
Katherine Sciver-Brunt made her women t20 International debut for England against Pakistan on 5 July 2013. She played her Women Oneday International( WODI) Debut match on 1 July 2013 against Pakistan at Louth Cricket Club. On 10 January 2014 Sciver made her test debut for England Against Australia in Perth Australia.
In 2017 she was the part of World cup 2017 held in England. In that world cup series Sciver considered as one of the best English player in 2017 World cup. In 2023 auction of Womens premier league sciver acquired by the Mumbai Indian for RS 3.2 Crore.
