Khaleel Ahmed is a Indian International cricketer who plays for Rajasthan in the domestic matches as a Bowler, He is aleft arm fast medium bowler and right handed batsman. He made his debut for Indian cricket team in September 2018. Khaleel is a one of the emerging Indian Cricketer. Khaleel Ahmed was born on 5 December 1997 in Tonk, Rajasthan, India. Khaleel was very fond of sports since childhood, he started playing cricket from a very young age.
Khaleel started playing cricket at the age of 18, after which Khaleel has proved himself to be a athleticism. From tennis ball to cricket ball, Khaleel has shown his sportive nature. Khaleel’s father Khursheed Ahmed is a nurse and he was strongly against Khaleel playing cricket, his parents wanted Khaleel to become a doctor but Khaleel’s dream was to represent the Indian team at the international level. Khaleel’s father used to beat him for playing cricket.
At the age of 12, Khaleel joined the cricket academy in Tonk without informing his parents and in his early career he used to copy the bowling style of former cricketers Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan. His coach Imtiyaz Khan sent him to Rajasthan cricket academy in Jaipur, where he joined Rajasthan under 14 camp. He took 26 wickets in 4 matches while playing Under 14 for Rajasthan.
Due to his excellent performance, he was selected in the Cricket Academy of Mohali, Punjab. In 2015, Khaleel was selected for the India Under-19 team, in which he took 13 wickets in 5 matches, after which he was selected in the Indian squad for the India Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2016. After that He made his first class debut for Rajasthan in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy on 6 October 2017 against Jammu & Kashmir at Jaipur.
Played fantastic in domastic cricket he got chance to play for Indian. Khallel Ahmed made his one day international (ODI) debut for India against Hong Kong on 18 September 2018. He made his T20 International debut for India against the West Indies on 4 November 2018.
In 2016 ipl auction Khaleel Made was bought by the Delhi Daredavils at the base prize for 10 lakhs in indian premier league 2016 tounament. In January 2018, he was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2018 IPL auction. In February 2022, Khaleel was again bought by the Delhi Capitals in 2022 Indian Premier League tournament.
