Mayank Markande is an Indian Cricketer who plays for the Punjab team in Domestic cricket as a Bowler he is a right arm-leg break googly bowler and right-handed batsman. Recently Mayank is playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in Indian Premier League as a bowler and recently he played for Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals from the 2018 to 2022 season. He made his international debut for the India cricket team in 2019.
Mayank Markande Was born on 11 November 1997 in Bathinda, Punjab, India. Mayank loves cricket in his childhood, Early he developed an interest in cricket. At the age of 8, He started playing cricket and joined the NICS cricket academy to horn his cricket skills. He used to play for the cricket team of his school, Yadavindra Public School, Patiala.
Mayank has played and won many tournaments with his team. After that, He started playing domestic cricket for Punjab Team. He made his t20 Debut for Punjab on 14 January 2018 in the 2017-18 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Mayank made his List “A” Debut for Punjab on 7 February 2018 in the 2017-18 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He made his first-class debut for Punjab in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy on 1 November 2018.
Due to his Aggressive performance in Domestic soon he was noticed by the Ipl Selectors and Got a Chance to play in Ipl. In January 2018 ipl auction Markande was bought by the Mumbai Indians at the price of 20 Lakhs Rs for the 2018 Ipl tournament. He made his Ipl Debut for Mumbai Indians against Chennai Super Kings and he took Csk Captain M.S Dhoni’s wicket and two others.
In the 2020 to 2021 Ipl Auction He was picked by the Rajasthan Royals at the price of 2 Crore Rs for the 2020 to 2021 Indian Premier League Tournament. In the next season 2022, He was again signed by the Mumbai Indians at the price of 65 lakhs rs for the 2022 Ipl.
In the 2023 Ipl Auction, He was Bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the price of 50 Lakhs Rs for the 2023 Indians Premier League Tournament. Apart from all domestic cricket he also played International matches for India. Mayank made his T20 international debut for India against Australia on 24 February 2019.
