Nathan Lyon is an Australian International cricketer who plays for the Australia National Cricket team as a Bowler, He is a Right arm off spin Bowler and Right handed Batsman. Nathan Michael Lyon was born on 20 November 1987 in Young, New South Wales, Australia. Lyon had a great passion for playing cricket since childhood, he started playing cricket from a young age. Seeing his interest in cricket, his father enrolled him in the Cricket Academy where he honed his cricketing skills. After this, he played and won many matches for his club team. He moved from Young to Canberra as a teenager where he went on to play for ACT Cricket’s under-17s and under-18s representative teams.
Later Lyon was the leading wicket-taker for South Australia in the 2010–11 KFC Twenty20 Big Bash. Lyon went on to play for the South Australia team in the Sheffield Shield and the Australian domestic limited-overs competition. Due to his performance In the same year, he was selected to represent Australia A in Zimbabwe where he took 11 wickets. Nathan was signed by the Ade; aide Strikers in the inaugural season of the Big Bash League. In February 2021, Lyon took his 600th first-class wicket during the 2020–21 Sheffield Shield season.
Due to his brilliant performance in the Domestic, He get a chance to play for the Australia National team. Lyon made his test debut for Australia on 31 August 2011 against the Shri Lanka team. Later he made his One Day International debut for Australia on 8 March 2012 against Shri Lanka. After four years Nathan made his T20 International debut for Australia on 29 January 2016 against India Team.
