Cricket was very much liked in Nida’s family, his father also used to be a first class cricketer of Pakistan, Nida used to admire his cousin very much, his batting was very good, although his brother got married at a very young age, due to which he Had to leave cricket.
Nida loved playing cricket but Her brother did not want Nida to become a cricketer and make cricket her career but Nida was determined to make cricket her career and got herself enrolled in the cricket academy of her locality. But she used to skip the weekend classes as her brother lived near the academy at that time. Because of her brother, Nida had also cut her hair like a boy so that she would look like a boy and people would think that a boy is playing cricket.
She started playing cricket on domastic level, She played for Pakistan Cricket Board Women Blues, Rest of Pakistan Women Whites, PCB Dynamites, The Rest, Strikers Women, PCB Challengers, Pakistan Universities Women, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited Women at domastic level.
After playing domastic cricket she got a chance to play for pakistan national team. On 5 october 2010, Nida made her Oneday international(ODI) Debut for pakistan women’s against Ireland womens. On 6 october 2010, She made her T20 International debut for Pakistan womens against Shri Lanka women’s. Nida is yet to get a chance to play a Test match for Pakistan Women.
