Due to his Good Performance, he got a chance to play for Big Bash League and New South Wales team, He made his Twenty20 debut for the Sydney Thunder, on 22 December 2020 against the Scorchers team at Canberra in the 2020-21 Big Bash League season. He made his List A debut for New South Wales on 15 February 2021 against the Victoria team at Sydney in the 2020-21 Marsh One-Day Cup. After that Davies made his First-class debut for New South Wales on 2 March 2023 in the 2022-23 Sheffield Shield season.
Before he made his Twenty20 Debut for Sydney Thunder Oliver was named in Australia’s Under squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
