Piyush Chawla is an Indian Professional Cricketer who played for India’s National Cricket Team as a Bowler, He is a Right arm leg break bowler and Left Handed Batsman. He known as The Champion Bowler is an Indian cricketer. He also played for Central Zone in Domestic cricket as a Bowler.

He has been a part of Ipl since 2008 and made his International debut for India in 2006. Piyush Chawla was born on 24 December 1988 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India In a Middle-class family. Piyush was very fond of playing cricket since childhood, he started playing cricket from a young age. To improve his cricketing skills, Piyush enrolled in a cricket academy where he honed his bowling skills, and after hard work, he got a chance to play domestic matches.
Firstly he started his cricket with Gujrat Team he played a few matches for Gujrat Team at the state level. Piyush was named in India’s Under19 squad for the 2005 Under19 Cricket world cup against the England U-19 team. In the 2005–06 Challenger Trophy Chawla was selected to play for India B. Later In 2006 Piyush made his first-class debut for Central Zone against South Zone in the Duleep Trophy.
With his Aggressive Performance in all Matches, he was noticed by the selectors and got a chance to play for India. He made his test debut for India On 9 March 2006 against England team. Piyush made his One day International debut for India on 12 May 2007 against the Bangladesh team. After that, he get a chance to play in Ipl.
From 2008 to 2013 Ipl Auction was signed by the Punjab Kings. In the next Ipl season from 2014 to 2019, Piyush was picked by the Kolkata Knight Riders. Later in the 2020 Ipl auction, he was Bought by the Chennai Super Kings at the price of 6.75 Crore Rs for the 2020 Ipl Tournament.
In the 2021 Ipl Auction, He was Bought by the Mumbai Indians at the price of 2.40 Crore Rs for the ipl tournament. In the 2023 Ipl Auction Piyush Chawla was Retained By the Mumbai Indians at the price of 50 Lakhs Rs for the 2023 Indian Premier League Tournament.
