Rahul Tewatia is an Indian Cricketer who plays for Haryana cricket team in domastic cricket as a all rounder. He is a left handed batsman and right arm medium spin bowler. Rahul Tewatia was born on 20 May 1993 in Faridabad, Haryana, India. Rahul had a passion for sports since childhood because he belongs to a Spots family. Rahul’s grandfather Karanvir Tewatia wanted to make him a wrestler because he himself had been a wrestler, while his uncle wanted to make him a hockey player because he too had been a hockey player, but Rahul Tewatia was interested in cricket from the very beginning and he wanted to play cricket and pursue cricket as a professional career.
When He was eight years old He began learning cricket at Vallabhgad Academy in Faridabad, where he practiced with tannis ball Cricket. later He began practicing with Wicketkeeper and Batsman Vijay Yadav at the Vijay Yadav Academy. After that He made his Ranji Trophy debut for Haryana against Karnataka in 2013, at the Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium, His performance was not very special in that match.
After three years Tewatia made his List A debut for Haryana in the Vijay Hazari Trophy 2016-17 season On 25 February 2017. Played well in Ranji trophy he got a chance to play in Ipl. Rahul made her Indian premier league debut for Rajisthan Royals in 2014 at the prize 10 lakh Rs. Although Tewatia was not permanent in the team till 2020, He has played less than 30 matches for 5 teams in 5 seasons.
In February 2017, He was bought by the Kings XI Punjab team In 2017 Ipl auction. In January 2018, Tewatia was bought by the Delhi Capitals in the 2018 IPL auction. In February 2022, he was bought by the Gujarat Titans in the auction of 2022 IPL tournament. In February 2021, Tewatia was named in India’s Twenty20 International squad against England. Despite his impressive performance in domestic cricket and IPL, he is yet to get a chance to make his debut in the Indian national cricket team.
