Rajvardhan Hangargekar was born on 10 November 2002 in Tuljapur, Maharastra, India in a middle-class family. Rajvardhan had a great passion for playing cricket since childhood. He started playing cricket at a very young age. Rajvardhan has represented his team at many state levels for his school cricket team and won many matches.
Seeing his interest in cricket, his father enrolled him in the Cricket Academy, where he honed his cricketing skills and worked hard, after which he started playing domestic matches for Maharashtra. Rajvardhan made his Twenty20 debut on 16 January 2021, for Maharashtra in the 2020-21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Baroda.
He made his List A debut for Maharashtra on 21 February 2021 against Himachal Pradesh in Jaipur in the 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Hangargekar made his First Class debut for the Maharastra team on 13 December 2022 against Delhi in the 2022-23 Ranji Trophy. Due to his Good Performance in Domestic, he got a chance to play in Ipl.
In February 2022 Ipl auction Hangargekar was bought by the Chennai Super Kings at the price of 1.50 Crore Rs for the 2022 Indian Premier League. In the 2023 Ipl Auction Rajvardhan Hangargekar was retained by the Chennai Super Kings at the price of 1.50 Crore Rs for the 2023 Indian Premier League Tournament.
Hangargekar made his ipl debut for Chennai Super Kings on the 31st match of 2023 against Gujrat Titans. In his Ipl Debut, He took 3 Wickets for Gujrat Titans.
