Rilee Rossouw is a South African International cricketer who played for South Africa National cricket team as a Top Order Batsman, He is a Left Handed batsman and Right arm Off Break Bowler. Rilee Plays many domestic matches and twenty-20 League for various teams. For example, recently he is playing for Delhi Capitals in Indian Premier League Tournament as a Batsman and previously he played for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rossouw is one of the best top-order batsmen in South Africa.
Rilee Roscoe Rossouw was born on 9 October 1989 in Bloemfontein, Orange Free State Province, South Africa. Rilee was fond of playing cricket since childhood, he started playing cricket from a young age. He had enrolled in a cricket club to enhance his cricket skills. After which he started playing professional cricket. Rossouw made his first-class debut for the Free State team against Easterns in November 2007 and later went on to play for the Knights team in 2009.
He played many Domestic matches for Various teams. Due to his Performance, he gets a chance to play for South Africa Under19 Team. Russouw was selected to play for the South Africa Under19 Cricket World Cup and he made his Debut for South Africa against the Bangladesh team in December 2007. Rossouw was selected in the South Africa A squad for the tours of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in 2010.
Later he gets a chance to play for the Senior South Africa National cricket team. He made his One day International debut for South Africa on 21 August 2014 against Zimbabwe. Later he made his T20 International debut for South Africa on 5 November 2014 against Australia Team.
In the 2014 Ipl Auction Rille was picked by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 2014 Indian Premier League but did not get many opportunities to play for Rcb. He made his Ipl Debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore on 4 May 2014 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. In 2016, Rossouw was signed by Gujarat Lions as a replacement player for Dwayne Bravo due to his Injury.
In the 2022 Ipl Auction, He was Bought by the Delhi Capitals At the price of 4.6 Crore Rs for the 2022 Ipl Tournament. In the 2023 Ipl Auction Rilee Rossouw was retained by the Delhi Capitals at the price of 4.6 Crore INR for the 2023 Indian Premier League. Rossouw is one of the best batsmen of the Delhi Capitals.
