Tanuja didn’t give up studies for cricket and kept it continuous. She studied till 10th from Kannada school in Shimla, after that she started her training in cricket academy. Tanuja is currently pursuing her final year university studies in Amritsar College. In the year 2011, Tanuja joined the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Academy.
Tanuja became the highest wicket taker in the year 2017-18 senior women’s t20 match series for Himachal among the 7 highest wicket taker women. Tanuja has not got a chance to play with the Indian women’s team and still practices at the Dharamshala academy. His dream is to wear the blue jersey of India. Tanuja Kanwar has been bought by Gujarat Giants for 50 lakhs in the 2023 Womens Premier League auction.
