Travis Head is an Australian International cricketer who plays for the Australia National Cricket team as a Middle Order Batsman, He is a Left Handed Batsman and part-time right-arm off-spin bowler. He made his International debut for Australia in 2016 against the India team. Travis was the former co-vice-captain of the Australian national team in Tests format from January 2019 to November 2020. He is playing for the South Australia team and the Adelaide Strikers in domestic cricket as a Batsman.
Travis Michael Head was born on 29 December 1993 in Adelaide, South Australia. Travis was very fond of playing cricket since childhood, he started playing cricket from a young age. Seeing his interest in cricket, his father enrolled him in a cricket academy where he honed his skills and worked hard. Travis started playing professional cricket at the age of 18.
He made his National debut for South Africa’s under-17 and under-19 levels in the National Under-19 Championships at the age of 17. After that, He made his first-class debut for South Australia in the 2012 Sheffield Shield season at the age of 18. He also get a chance to play for Ipl, In the 2016 Ipl Tournament he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the price of 1 Crore Rs for the 2016 Indian Premier League Tournament.
Later he was included in Australia’s Squad for the 2012 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Due to his performance, he gets a chance to play for the Australian National Cricket team. He made his T20 International debut for Australia on 26 January 2016 against India. He made his One Day International debut for Australia on 13 June 2016 against West Indies. After two years Travis made his Test Debut for Australia on 7 October 2018 against Pakistan Team.
