Let me tell you that Zampa used to bowl medium pace when he was in school, but only after that new instructions were issued for under-14 matches, in which he had restricted the pace of fast bowlers to a great extent. Since then, he had started bowling leg-spin. He was then selected in the Under-19 team in 2009 and went on to represent Australia in their successful 2010 Under-19 World Cup campaign.
His most important thing was that he used to bounce the ball above the eye line, which was his very old technique, because of this technique, he became the most successful cricketer in his career. The result of his technique was that he was signed by New South Wales in 2010, but despite this he did not get a chance to play immediately because New South Wales already had some very successful spinners.
Let us tell you that Zampa had given his tremendous performance in the first class in the 2012-13 season of Sheffield Shield against Queensland and also took 5 wickets in the match very brilliantly. Later in 2013, he was also signed up by South Australia and scored his first hat-trick against Western Australia in the 2014–15 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup match. Even after that, he has done exceptionally well for the Adelaide Strikers as well as the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash. So far, Zampa has played 38 first-class and 99 List-A games, taking 105 and 147 wickets.
