Anuj Rawat is an Indian International cricketer who plays for Delhi team in Domestic cricket as a better Wicket-keeper. He is a left handed batsmana nd Wicket-keeper. Rawat is a talented young cricketer from India who plays brilliantly in domestic and IPL. Anuj Rawat was born on 17 October 1999 in Ram Nagar, Uttarakhand, India. He bown into a middle class farmer family. Rawat had a lot of passion for cricket since childhood. Anuj started playing cricket at the age of 14. Anuj’s dream was to become a famous Indian cricketer. Anuj’s family members were very supportive; Anuj’s father wanted him to start his cricket career as a wicket-keeper batsman.
He used to play cricket in a small cricket academy a few kilometers away from his home. Seeing his interest in cricket and batting skills, the coach of the cricket academy took Anuj’s father advised to join professional academy cricket in Delhi. In the year 2011, Anuj moved to Delhi, where he got enrolled in the West Delhi Cricket Academy of Virat Kohli’s coach Rajkumar Sharma, where he used to take cricket training from Rajkumar.
After a lot of hard work, Anuj started playing domestic cricket for the Delhi team. Anuj made his First class debut for Delhi against Assam on 6 October 2017 in 201718 Ranji Trophy. He scored 71 runs in his debut first class match against Assam.He made his t20 debut for Delhi team against Mulapadu on 21 February 2019 in 1019-20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. After that He made his List “A” Debut for Delhi against Varodara on 4 October 2019 in 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Good preformece With his bats noticed by the Ipl Franchaize selecters and got chance to play in ipl. In 2020 ipl auction Anuj Rawat was bought by the Rajasthan Royals Team ahed of 2020 indian premier league tournament with the sold price 80 Lakhs Rs. Anuj played IPL for Rajasthan Royals for two years.
He was bought by Royal Challenger Bangalore in 2022 auction for INR 3.4 Crore in Indian Premier League after which Royal Challenger Bangalore retained Anuj Rawat in 2023 auction with the Same price INR 3.4 Crore for 2023 Indian Premier League tournament.
