Harpreet Brar is an Indian cricketer who plays domestic cricket for Punjab. He is a left arm orthodox spin bowler. He was a part of the Punjab Kings squad in IPL 2023. Harpreet Brar was born on 16 September 1995 in Moga district of Punjab state. Harpreet Brar wanted to become a cricketer since childhood. Harpreet Brar’s idol is former Indian cricketer and sixer king Yuvraj Singh. His father’s name is Mohinder Singh Brar, he is a driver in Punjab. Harpreet Brar made his IPL debut in 2019 against Delhi Capitals. Harpreet was bought by Punjab Kings in 2019 for ₹20 lakhs. Harpreet did not get many chances in IPL 2019 and 20. When Harpreet was included in the playing XI in IPL 2021, he performed brilliantly. Took 3 wickets in 4 overs against Bengaluru which included the wickets of Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers and also scored 25 runs in that match. That’s why he was also given man of the match. After performing brilliantly in the 2021 IPL, Harpreet was bought by Punjab Kings in 2022 for Rs 3.80 crore.
