Mukesh Kumar was born on 12 October 1993 in Gopalganj, Bihar, India. He was fond of playing cricket since childhood. He used to play cricket at very young age in the streets of Kakadkund Villege. Mukesh’s family did not want him to become a cricketer, his father used to say that Mukesh should do a government job, but Mukesh was very interested in playing cricket and wanted to make it his career.
Mukesh used to go to play cricket secretly from his family, for that reason his Uncle Krishnakant Singh used to scold him a lot Because he was always afraid that Mukesh should not fight with anyone because of victory and defeat in cricket. Mukesh never stopped playing cricket no matter how much his family used to scold him.
Mukesh paid a lot of attention to his cricket and learned new tricks in bowling, after which in 2008-9 named “Pratibha ki Khoj” was started in Mukesh’s village Gopalganj, in which he participated and in that tournament He took 34 wickets in 10 matches. In 2010, Mukesh become the part of Bihar under 19 team in the associated and affilate tournament hosted by the Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI).
He made his first class debut for Bengal on 30 october 2015 in 2015-15 Ranji Trophy Season. Mukesh made his List “A” Debut for Bengal on 13 December 2015 against Uttar Pardesh in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy. After that Mukesh Kumar made his Twenty20 debut for the Bengal team against Gujrat at Nagpur on 6 January 2016 in the 2015-16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
After some year In december 2022 Mukesh was selected for the Indian cricket team for T20 International series against Shri Lanka. In 2023 ipl auction Mukesh was bought by the Delhi capitals for Rs. 5.5 Cr in the Indian premier league 2023 tournament, his base prize was 20 lakh Rs.
