Riley Meredith is an Australian Cricketer who plays for the Australia National Cricket team as a Bowler, He is a Right-arm fast bowler and Right handed batsman. Riley Patrick Meredith was born on 21 June 1996 in Hobert, Tasmania, Australia. Meredith was very fond of sports since childhood, from a young age he used to play different games with his father. But among all the sports, he liked playing cricket more and he decided to make cricket a professional career. To improve his cricket skills, he got enrolled in a cricket club where he prepared for cricket. After some time he started playing Domestic cricket for Tasmania and Cricket Australia XI.
Meredith made his List A debut for the Cricket Australia XI team on 10 January 2017 against Pakistan during their tour of Australia. Later He made his first-class debut for Tasmania on 13 November 2017 in the 2017–18 Sheffield Shield. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Hobart Hurricanes team on 1 February 2018 in the 2017-18 Big Bash League.
Due to his performance, he gets a chance to play in Indian Premier League(IPL). In February 2021 Ipl Auction, Meredith was bought by the Punjab Kings at the price of 8 Crore Rs for the 2021 Indian Premier League. In the 2022 Ipl Auction, he was Bought by the Mumbai Indian at the price of 1 Crore Rs for the ipl tournament. During the 2023 ipl tournament, Riley Meredith plays for Mumbai Indians as a replacement for Jhye Richardson in the 2023 Indian Premier League at the same price of 1 Crore INR.
Meredith also gets chance to play for the Australia National team. He made his T20 International debut for Australia on 21 March 2021 against the New Zealand team. Meredith made his One day International(ODI) debut for the Australia team on 22 July 2021 against West Indies.
