Later He made his T20 International debut for Australia on 20 September 2022 against India Team.

In the August 2021 Ipl Auction He was picked by the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the price of 8.25 Core Rs for the 2021 Indian Premier League in the UAE. He made his Ipl Debut for Rcb on 24 September 2021 against Chennai Super Kings.
In the next 2022 ipl season he was bought by the Mumbai Indians at the price 8.25 Crore Rs for 2022 Ipl Auction. In 2023 Ipl Auction Tim David was retained by the Mumbai Indians at the price 8.325 Crore Rs for the 2023 Indians Premier league Tournament.
