Nitish Kumar Reddy was born on 26 May 2003 in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India in a well earn Businessman Family. Nitish is the son of former Hindustan Zinc employee Mutyala Reddy. Nitish loved playing cricket since childhood, he started playing cricket with a plastic ball at the age of 5.
Reddy loved the Indian cricket team very much and seeing them, he decided to become a professional cricketer, for which he worked hard, and from a young age he started playing cricket for the domestic under-age team. With his Father, He would regularly visit the Hindustan Zinc grounds to watch seniors play cricket. For a Better Career Nitish’s father quit his job for transferred to Udaipur, to help his son pursue a cricket career.
After that He started playing Professionally Cricket He was spotted by the former Indian Cricketer and selector MSK Prasad during the Under-12 and Under-14 age group matches. Later He made his First Class Debut for the Andhra Pradesh team on 27 January 2020 against Kerala in the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy.
He made his List A debut on 20 February 2021, for Andhra against the Vidarbha team in the 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He made his T20 debut on 4 November 2021, for Andhra against Jammu & Kashmir in the 2021–22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
In the 2023 Ipl Auction Nitish Kumar Reddy was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the price of 20 Lakhs Rs for the 2023 Indian Premier League Tournament. He made his Ipl Debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad on 18 May 2023 against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
